Bitten by the performance bug, John pimped Ukepedia at BarCamp Leeds 2008 this weekend, playing his near classic ‘Otitis Media‘ during the “My Last Project” group of short talks. He was apparently the only speaker to get a standing ovation and cries for an encore.

Dave Smalley videoed the shenanigans, including John’s intro about the confusing licensing situation.

Ukepedia was officially announced at The Chemic Tavern in Leeds last night. John performed the Wikipedia article “Otitis Media” during the Cloth Cat open mic night that’s held there every Thursday (except the first Thursday of the month!). John will hopefully be doing another performance of the song at Barcamp Leeds on Saturday to spread the word.
